Safeguarding Policy

Bedworth & Bulkington Taekwondo, part of Jackson White Taekwondo Schools teaches the art of Taekwondo which can and does have a very powerful and positive influence on people – especially young people and adults at risk. Not only can Taekwondo provide opportunities for enjoyment and achievement, it can also develop valuable qualities and life skills such as confidence, self-esteem, leadership, and teamwork. These positive effects can only take place if Taekwondo is practiced in a safe, well-regulated environment.

Bedworth & Bulkington Taekwondo has the welfare of all young people and adults at risk first at the forefront of everything it does and adopts practices that support, protect and empower them. In order to ensure that Bedworth & Bulkington Taekwondo provides a safe learning environment for all of its members, Guild lines and policies from the British Taekwondo Council are strictly adhered to.

These policies can be downloaded from the links at the bottom of the page.

For further details on any of our safeguarding policies or to confidentially discuss an issue or concern, please contact one of our instructors or club welfare office.
